The Data Controls page is where you close your account, set your email preferences, and open the legal terms that apply to your use of BLNG.
Closing your account
How you close your account depends on your plan. The Close my account row carries the action.
- On a free Starter account, choose Delete Account and type your email address to confirm.
- With an active paid subscription, the row offers Contact support instead, and we close the account for you.
Deleting your account is permanent: you lose access immediately, and you won't be able to register again with the same email address. Download anything you want to keep before you confirm.
Email preferences
One switch controls whether BLNG emails you updates on new launches, tutorials, and other inspirational content. It's the same consent the sign-up screen offers, and this is where you change your mind either way.
Your answer is recorded straight away, but the mailing list itself takes a little longer to catch up. While that's pending, a line under the switch tells you so.
How your data is used
What BLNG may do with your prompts and outputs depends on your plan:

| Paid (Professional & Enterprise) | Your content is never used to train or improve our or any third party's AI models; BLNG uses it solely to provide the service to you. Your files, prompts, and outputs stay private and under your control, and you keep full IP and commercial rights. |
| Free (Starter) | You still own the IP you create. Under the license in our Terms, BLNG may use your content and designs to operate, improve and develop the service, which may include training or fine-tuning AI models. Content used this way is de-identified first, so it is not linked to you, and it is never used in a way that would identify you or reproduce your individual work. We never sell your data. |
