Error Pages & Connectivity
Sometimes BLNG can't reach the server: a dropped connection, a generation that fails to start, or a page that can't be found. This page explains the connection states and error screens you might see, and how to recover.
Connection lost & reconnecting
When your connection drops, BLNG shows Attempting to reconnect and keeps trying in the background, so you don't need to refresh. If it can't get through, that becomes The internet connection was lost, with a Retry button. Your canvas stays interactive the whole time, and nothing you've done locally is lost.
When a generation fails
If a generation can't start or the live connection to it breaks, BLNG shows the error where the result would be, with a button to try again, instead of leaving you waiting. Your prompt text and references are kept, so retrying re-sends the same request. If a generation fails repeatedly, simplify the request or split it into smaller steps. See Troubleshooting.
Working offline
BLNG keeps working without a connection, apart from anything that calls the AI. An Offline badge appears in the toolbar, and you can go on viewing and editing your canvas: drawing, layers, and masks all work locally. Generating, upscaling, removing backgrounds, and 3D are disabled until you reconnect, and your work is saved locally and syncs automatically once you're back online.
Page not found (404)
A 404 means the link points to a design or page that doesn't exist, or was deleted: BLNG shows We couldn't find this page with a way back to your projects. If someone else sent you the link, ask them to check it.
