On-Model & Lifestyles
BLNG places your jewelry on a model or in a lifestyle scene: a ring on a hand, a necklace worn in natural light. Your piece stays faithful at High or Full influence while the AI generates the person, setting and lighting. For exact scale across many SKUs, BLNG Studio renders on-body images from CAD.
What you need
- A finished product image, generated in BLNG or imported onto the canvas.
- A clear idea of the context you want: who is wearing or using it, and where.
Step 1. Lock in your product
- Place your product image on the canvas, or generate it in the Chat panel and choose Add to canvas.
- Add the product as a reference with Use as reference, then set its Influence to High or Full so the AI preserves its exact shape and material. See Reference Images.
Step 2. Describe the model or scene
- Write a prompt for the context, for example: "This necklace worn by a model in soft natural light against a warm neutral backdrop."
- To match a specific environment, use the Image scene style and upload a backdrop photo: the AI picks up its lighting and mood without copying its layout onto your piece. See Scene Styles.
- Choose your AI mode and generate. Thinking helps with more complex compositions. See AI Modes.
Step 3. Protect product fidelity with masking
Lifestyle generation can alter the product itself, and a mask is the strongest fix as long as you mask the right half: only what sits inside a mask can change, so the mask has to cover the scene, not the product. With the Selection tool (M), draw the area around the product, or select the product and invert the selection with Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + I, then press Enter to turn it into a mask. See Masks.
If the product still drifts, stop regenerating it: composite a clean product render on its own layer over the lifestyle background and blend the edges. Either way, compare the result against your canvas in Split view to catch distortion in shape or material.
Step 4. Iterate and finish
Use Try again to explore different models, poses, and settings while the product reference stays fixed, then export the final composition with Download (Cmd/Ctrl + S).
Best practices
- Balance the influence by role. High or Full on the product, lower on any scene reference, so the AI has room to build the environment. See Influence.
- Match the lighting before you fix anything else. An Image scene style built from a backdrop photo is the easiest way to keep the light believable across product and scene.
